Therapy Sessions

Teaching is based on the child's needs, with a focus on the family. Sessions are provided in the home, at a daycare center, or other natural environments. Each child's individualized program plan may include play activities to develop social, language, motor, self-help, and cognitive skills.

These developmental activities are based on input from a specialized team, which can include a Speech, Physical, and Occupational Therapist as needed. Parents and caretakers participate in the special instruction and therapy visits.

Early Intervention services are provided in Madison, Morgan, Limestone, and Lawrence Counties in the individual's homes, daycares, and other natural environments. These services are provided at no cost to the family.
