At the Bill Stewart Center, training is provided to enable individuals
to develop skills in areas of need.  Clients actually earn wages
based on production.


Training is provided in:

  • economic self-sufficiency
  • self-care
  • receptive/expressive language
  • capacity for independent living

The earning of wages:

  • encourages productivity
  • teaches basic work habits
  • personal satisfaction of performing meaningful work
  • reward of a pay check

  • Located in Moulton, AL
  • No charge to clients or their families for services provided
  • Certified and monitored by the Alabama Department of Mental Health/ Mental Retardation
  • Funding provided by the North Central Alabama Mental Retardation Authority
